Requests can be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the items you would like to order and in which country you live in. You will receive an reply within 24 hours (on workdays*) if it is possible to arrange shipping for the requested items. Fluids (for example paints) cannot be shipped outside of the EU.
Products ordered before 12:00 CET on Mondays until Fridays will be shipped the same day.
Other orders will be shipped the next work day*.
We use PostNL for de transport of your order. Within the Netherlands 95% of the deliveries are within 24 hours. For destinations in the EU see table below.

Can I order as usual?
Yes, we do everything we can to handle all orders. The delivery may be delayed due to the fact that PostNL has to process more parcels than usual.
What precautions have you taken?
We follow all measures and advice from the RIVM. Our employees keep social distance from each other and when packing orders they wear gloves. In addition, none of our employees come to work when they have symptoms of covid19.
Do you expect problems with the stock?
At the moment most of our suppliers still deliver. We do our best to keep everything in stock.
When will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped if ordered on Monday to Fridays before 12:00 CET the same day, otherwise your order will be shipped the next working day. Due to heavy traffic at PostNL it may take longer for your order to be delivered.
Can my order be infected with the virus?
We and PostNL do everything we can to prevent parcels to become infected with the virus. Should this happen, the virus can’t survive very well on cardboard. Scientific research has shown that after 24 hours the virus is no longer found on cardboard. If you want to be 100% sure your order isn’t infected, you can quarantine it for 24 hours before opening. To be the safe, you can wash your hands after opening your parcel.
How will my order be delivered?
PostNL follows the measures taken by the RIVM. They deliver your order contactless. They will put your order in front of your door or if your parcel fits through the mailbox, they will put it in your mailbox. You parcel will never be left unattended at your door.
Why do I receive a shipping confirmation on Saturday or Sunday?
As we receive more orders than usual, as many orders as possible are already packed and processed during the weekend. That’s why you will receive a shipping confirmation on Saturday or Sunday. Orders are shipped on Monday and can be tracked through track and trace from Tuesday morning.
When purchasing products at englishmodelrailways.shop you have the right to return the ordered products, without giving reasons, during a period of 14 days. During the 14 day period you may evaluate the products ordered.
Check the contents of your order as soon as possible after delivery for completeness and if the products are undamaged. If this is not the case please contact us.
When you are not satisfied about a product you may return it. If you return an article you make use of the right of withdrawal.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to dissolve a contract, without giving reasons, during a period of 14 days.
The period stipulated in para. 1 commences on the day after the product was received by the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer, who is not the transporting party.
If you want to exercise your right of withdrawal you shall report this to the trader, within the withdrawal period, by means of the model form for right of withdrawal or in some other unequivocal way.
Consequences of exercising the right of withdrawal and the costs involved
As quickly as possible, but no later than 14 days after the day of reporting, you shall return the product, or hand it over to (a representative of) the trader.
We will reimburses you immediately with all payments, including any delivery costs the trader charged for the returned product, though at the latest within 14 days after the day on which you reported the withdrawal.
For reimbursement, we will use the same payment method that was initially used by you. The risk and the burden of proof for exercising the right of withdrawal correctly and in time rest upon you.You bear the direct costs of returning the product. The costs for returning a product within The Netherlands is about € 7,00. For an estimate on the return costs from abroad please check for this on the website of your postal company.
You are solely liable for the loss of value of the ordered products which are the result of use of the goods when used more than necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and performance.
